So the room is finished!

Well the room is finished and has been for over a week.  Still have to find a new place for my boxed wedding dress....not easy since the box is a bit bulky.  I don't think I have to worry about my girls wanting to use any part of the dress.....they have never seen it except in pictures and think it is too old fashioned anyhow. Most of the brides today do the off the shoulder dresses even though their figures may not support that style.  Go figure!  Maybe a grand daughter will want to cut it up to use someday!
So now to the sleeping problem there-----it is getting better.  New changes all around make for hard nights but we go on anyway.
Have to straighten up my third floor so that we can de-crap the computer/sewing room and dispose of a lot of old clutter.  The computer desk has to be hauled down and outside to rest in the alley until our local street alley picker comes by and grabs it to stuff in his garage!  At least then he has it and I don't.  Then the rats in his garage will have something to play on and in!  He was cited by the county but still had not de-crapped his place as of last week.  Fortunately the county is coming through soon and should wallop him with a stiff fine!  Geez!!!  Would hate to smell his house!
My daughter is coming cross country with her friend to live in Arlington, VA while he goes to George Mason for his pHd in Economics.  She HATES this weather here and would prefer to live in NM forever but will give it a chance.  I expect to be hearing her tirades as soon as it hits 50 degrees here!  She has two jobs and no benefits so we shall see how she fares after 12/31 when her health insurance ends.  She is very resourceful and should land on her feet.  But this will be the test as they embark on living together as there is only one bedroom and who will go elsewhere when they need a bit of alone time? Time to begin the process of cooperating and or compromising!  I don't really think we will see her much more than we do now but hope to.....just have to be fitted in whenever and wherever we can.
I am having a really hard time with wondering how she will fare in this new endeavor.  She is excited about her jobs just not the whole east coast thing. They are paying a huge amount for the condo but it is in a good area for young people with restaurants and bars near enough so that they can walk or use the metro.  I just have to sit back, mind my own business and wait to offer advice when it is solicited.....hard todo with my big mouth!
